Two years ago, with the grief of the loss of our father, we also had an additional concern: the well-being of our mother. With some regularity our parents stayed in Spain, where they have many friends and acquaintances. Our mother feels wonderful in Spain and after the loss of our father, my sister and I want her to be able to come here as regularly.

Due to our work, my sister and I, we cannot always bond with our mother, although we try to accompany her as much as possible, and naturally we want to know every second of the day if she is okay, but that is not always possible, until now! When we found out about "Chequi" we went directly to an information day.

For us this is truly a gift from heaven. In Chequi, when registering, the following information must be provided, among others: my mother's medication, the preference of doctors, hospitals, etc., and in the event of an incident, this information will be sent immediately to the hospital where I enter. The most important thing is: leave the "on" location on your phone and make sure it is charged. Otherwise, Chequi is quite simple, most of it is self-evident. In principle we did everything together with her for the first few days until she was able to handle everything herself and feel comfortable with it. And if it does not work with the smartphone, there is always "the SOS button".

The most important thing for us is: If she feels safe, we more!

When for example you hear a sound at night in the garden: press the SOS button and you will be called in your own language and you can explain what is there. Help is on the way, because your location is on. You are in the car and you are not feeling well somewhere, or you are just feeling dizzy in your own house, press the SOS button and Chequi will call you in your own language. If you don't answer the call, help is immediately delivered to your location.

When your Chequi arrives at eight o'clock in the morning, your phone will ring and vibrate for half an hour or until you validate your Chequi. If he does not respond, the Central de Chequi calls the "contact list" asking if they know anything about my mother and if not, help is immediately on the way.

You don't have to fear that you will accidentally hit SOS or don't answer a Chequi, because you are always called first before taking action.

If you hear a suspicious sound coming from the garden, you can press the SOS button and your Chequi will call in your own language, so you can explain the situation in practice. Thanks to having location enabled, emergency services will always know your exact location.

If she was just feeling fine, in the car in her own home, she will be able to press the SOS button, where again, Chequi will call her in her language. If she does not respond, Chequi will dispatch emergency services for her location.

Chequis: you can put as many Chequis as you like. Chequis send a notification to the mobile phone daily, our mother will have to press "OK" to inform Chequi (and us) that she is fine. If she does not respond, Chequi will try to call her contacts, such as neighbors and friends, to see if they know anything about her - if not, Chequi will proceed as in an emergency, and dispatch emergency services to her location.

You don't have to fear that you will accidentally press SOS or don't answer a Chequi, because you are always called first before taking action.

In this way, partly through Chequi, my mother can enjoy life carefree and feel safe. And with that the wish of my sister and me is fulfilled. We sincerely recommend it to everyone!
